My Approach
My approach is person-centered and I prioritize thoughtful, unhurried visits so we can fully understand what’s going on—not just to address symptoms, but to understand how the bigger picture of your life and experiences are impacted. I believe that meaningful change occurs within the context of a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, authenticity, and positive regard. I aim to foster trust and conditions that allow for insight and growth.
Treatment Philosophy
I am passionate about collaboration, education, and evidence-based practice. I thoughtfully incorporate wellness strategies to support lasting lifestyle changes while fostering autonomy and self-efficacy. I partner with patients to create individualized treatment plans that promote meaningful growth, resilience, and an improved quality of life.
Clinical Focus
I have a particular interest in working with young adults navigating periods of transition—whether that’s college, early career, or identity development. These years can feel overwhelming, and I aim to provide steady, practical support during times of change. Through a combination of supportive psychotherapy and thoughtful medication management, I aim to help young adults build resilience, improve daily functioning, and regain a sense of balance and self-assurance.
I am committed to providing inclusive, affirming care and strive to create a space where individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and belief systems feel respected and understood. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals as well as patients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
